In its filing for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, Tesla states that it began Cybercab production during the first half of 2026. The disclosure appears in Management’s Discussion and Analysis under the production outlook. Tesla also warns that new manufacturing programs face uncertainty as they are established and scaled.

What production does—and does not—tell us
CyberFleet Ready analysis: “Production started” is meaningful, but it is not a delivery calendar. The number of vehicles a facility could make at full utilization is different from the number it actually makes in a given month. Output is different again from the number available to paying passengers or external buyers.
For a useful timeline, record each milestone separately: factory start, achieved output, deployment into service, order acceptance and customer delivery. When a source discusses only one of these, do not fill in the others. This prevents optimistic targets from becoming apparent facts as a story gets repeated.
What is still unknown
The sources reviewed here do not provide a complete, independently verified Cybercab delivery schedule for outside commercial owners. They also do not establish an achieved annual production rate or the number of vehicles that will be allocated to each future market.
