Tesla’s official support page lists service in limited areas of Austin, Dallas, and Houston, Texas, plus Miami, Orlando, and Tampa, Florida. Availability, hours, and exact service boundaries can vary inside each market and should be checked in Tesla’s Robotaxi app.
Where is the dedicated Cybercab available?
Tesla says Cybercab rides are available only in limited areas of Austin. The other active cities are listed as Model Y markets. Riders cannot initially choose which vehicle the app assigns.
How new markets are evaluated
Regulatory authority, supervised and driverless testing, insurance, fleet operations, charging, local demand, and service-area validation can all affect readiness. These are practical market factors—not a claim that Tesla uses a publicly disclosed scoring formula.
